Awhile back I made some white champagne cupcakes
for my first wedding order. The recipe the bride and I found was honestly
amazing. But it was (I don’t like saying that I do this) a box mix. I prefer
homemade recipes. So recently, I went on a search for one of this particular
flavor; success!!
This recipe is very basic and has no milk
(unless you use real butter), water or oil. The champagne makes up for that;
and serious beating to egg whites! They rose nicely and have that yummy spongy
texture you want in a cupcake!
Also, the frosting is a homemade champagne
frosting (I added almond flavoring). Then I topped it with a almond bark heart design and some white non-perils!
They are super delicious and I can’t wait to
give some to my friend who’s birthday is tomorrow!
